The Summer Capital of the Philippines, Baguio has the newest attraction that you should not miss!

The Igorot Stone Kingdom is a must-visit tourist destination when visiting Baguio. The stone kingdom is a few kilometers away from Baguio town proper which is located on the mountainside along Longlong Road, Pinsao Proper. This beautiful man-made park is inspired by the rich cultural heritage of Igorots and various provinces in the Cordilleras. The park showcases the rock-laying skills of the locals as can be seen in the entire park.

About Igorot Stone Kingdom

The Igorot Stone Kingdom is measuring around 6,000sqm and used the traditional “riprap” style to protect the land against scour, water and to prevent soil erosion.

The park is a depiction of both the new and deep-rooted Igorot culture and values of the Cordillera people. Among the main attractions of the stone kingdom is a tower that illustrates the fantasy story of Gatan and Bangan, an Igorot man and woman who survived the great holocaust. Aside from this, the other side of the stone kingdom is a modern-day castle made of cement and hollow blocks. These two highlights the attraction in the park that everyone will surely love!

Every angle of the park is picturesque so make sure to wander around it and enjoy this one-of-a-kind tourist destination in Baguio.

Igorot Stone Kingdom Opening Hours, Location, Entrance Fee & Other Details

The Igorot Stone Kingdom is located at 362 Longlong Road, Pinsao Proper. This is near Tam-Awan Village, a well-known tourist attraction in Baguio.

The park is rested on the mountainside of Longlong Road and is visible even from afar when you passed by Tam-Awan village.

The parking area is a bit of a challenge. You can park along the highway near the park for free or within the Long Road Café for a fee. Expect a long queue of cars looking for parking especially during peak hours.

The park is open from 6 AM to 6 PM even on a Sunday.

If you have a pet with you, this is allowed in the park but make sure they are on a leash and you have their poop bag with you.

How to Get to Igorot Stone Kingdom

Going to the Igorot Stone Kingdom via private car is made easier as it is searchable in Waze or Google Maps.

If you are riding a taxi, make sure to inform the driver that you are going to Longlong Road, Pinsao Proper. The common landmark is Tam-Awan Village, which is a few minutes away from the Igorot Stone Kingdom.
